I recieved my final grade from my three years from uni and from my calculations, I was 0.3% away from a 2.1. This sucks.
This is what I hate about Drama. Subjectivity. I was 1 point away from having a 2.1 and a number of pieces, could have been marked 1 point heigher if someone else had marked the same piece. Because someone doesn't like a piece, it will be marked down as a result.
A blog about what I do creatively, in every aspect. Manifesto's for theatre, ideas for shows and reviews of what I do.

Hurray for JSA
Applied for JSA today. Spent 45 minutes talking to a fairly nice woman who asked me a gazillion questions about all kinds of shit. I sort of wish that I'd lied about working on Faust, and just not mentioned it, as now i need to give a phone number and pay slips for it, which I do not have...bastard.
Anyway, I'll be getting some money soon enough, which will be nice.
And my Dad thinks that my approach is crap...so i'll work on that too.

The Fear
Now I'm home, it's time to start trying to get a job, but I'm finding it terrifying. I want to get a job, or get some work experience, but I'm totally afraid of making myself look like a complete n00b, and making a complete fool of myself. I'm finding this is hindering me at the first step and I keep putting off phoning people. I need to get this sorted and actually take this first step.
On the other hand, I'm finding myself being very complacent when it comes to whether these people actually want me to work with them, for example, I found a job working as a graduate theatre technician, and already I'm convincing myself that I will have already got the job, and I don't know whether this is just confidence in what I know I can do, or if it's something that I need to stop, in order to move forward with my learning.
